hope it turns out better, but doubt. that area has some Huge Hogs and other critters, and no place for a Toddler, in a boat or out of a boat...

Thanks for the updates! It was nothing short of a miracle that a 2 year old survived through the night in that area. Especially being barefoot and wearing just a t-shirt! Angels no doubt kept him! I'm afraid the circumstances leave little hope for the dad though! God help.....

Best hopes for the Dad being found, but I just don't see how he would allow himself to get separated from his boy without something serious having happened.

Thinking of what that kid must have being going through freaks me out. But on the other hand, kids that age are extremely resilient, and lasting memories of the incident are less likely given the young age.

People get complacent about boating and fishing, thinking they are somehow above things like this happening. My daughter was taught to run my boat at the earliest age I/we could (definitely not at 2yrs old though), just in case anything happens to me when out with her on the boat. At least I think/hope she's comfortable enough to find her own way back to some civilization without having to get out of the boat.

I'm so glad the child was found alive, hopes for the Dad.

The 2 year old kid was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. No shoes, no life jacket, rain last night and cold. It's a miracle that kid was alive this morning. Said he walked up to a Game Warden this morning and asked for juice.

I assume the pictures of the boat are the same as how it was found. Looks like it hit the shore at a high speed to get it that high on the bank.

Something doesn't seem right. I think possibly the man had a heart attack or other ailment. How would you drive the boat that far up onto the bank. Like Toxarch said they must have hit the bank at full speed. Hopefully they find him.

i think this too but God is looking down that young man is still alive! I pray they still find the dad alive though!!! I hope for a happy ending that maybe he has a compound fracture or something. Odd scenario for sure.
