I need to know if a hand held scale can be certified? I'm not going to use it for fish unfortunately, I'm going to use it to weigh bags of trash in illegal dumping cases? I've only got to prove over 5 lbs. for a class B misdemeanor case. Where can it be certified at? A good friend said there is a place in Abilene, I'm just wanting to know if anyone has had one certified...

The boca grip can be certified but I don't know where. Perhaps you can call them and find out.
