I just got confirmation from someone that has a place on the lake, they are indeed there. He said nine of the ten boats were fishing the North end where he likes to fish. He also said he was about to go get right out in the middle of them and fish. Good for him. Sounds like a real sportsman. Yeah, kinda what I thought too. Not really cool.

Kurth is going to be closed one day this week. Wonder if they'll be there that day? Hmmm. If so, mlf won't be able to repeat these weights unless they come back. Until lufkin took over, kurth was arguably the best fishery in Texas. And that's from tpw. I've never seen so many 5-10lbers as that place had. Hydrilla matted in 22ft of water. It was nuts back in the day

On the smaller lakes it's easier for kvd to get his bent pole pattern rolling as the others are closer. Jelly post

On the smaller lakes it's easier for kvd to get his bent pole pattern rolling as the others are closer. Never seen him on a bent pole pattern. Duckett, Ike and a few others. It not KVD. He usually kicks their arse with a totally different pattern Yeah was going to say I've "NEVER" seen him do that before... Duckett, Ike, Ish, Short, and others sure do!! But KVD??? Heck all the other guys are throwing his baits and still can't beat him!! Yall need to watch more mlf he was really bad about it in the beginning. I'm sure he stil does but they prolly edit it different now.

I was already planning on being at Nacogdoches Friday and Saturday. I've never been there before. Should I just flip it and go to Kurth Friday and then Nac on Saturday? Or does Nac fish big enough for us to not be in there way if they are there?

I've heard they are working on new ramp and road at Kurth. Could that be why lake is closed or is it already done?
