Fished docks in about 15 fow and caught 9 keepers most just off bottom. Used jigs and minniows with equal effect. Had another 10 or so unders. 7 were females with bright yellow eggs that looked ready to drop.
Anyone know a good place to buy minnows on the east side of the lake near Frisco or The Colony? I only know of the gas station on the north side of the colony and they are a little stingy with their minnows. Three bucks for exactly one dozen.

Went Sunday and went all down the creek on north side of lake didn't have any luck on the way out stopped and jigged this spot that was 1 to 1 and a half foot deep and caught 12 before the wife called to tell me she was taking our youngest (1yo) to the er after he busted his head! But when we cleaned them they were all males I think they were in there making nest shouldn't be long till the females move in!

There's a place near Little Elm park, just north of the post office that hooks us up with minnows. They dang near fill the bag for $5.

Thanks guys. I went out yesterday without any minnows and picked up 4 keepers and a bunch of unders. All that I kept were male this time. I just fished jigs as I didn't feel like driving to little elm for just a couple hours fishing. Fish were about 12 feet deep under the dock.
