We are headed up there for spring break next week. Does anyone have a fishing report for the lake? I've never been but we are taking the boat with us.
Thanks,
Weston

The lake is low. Was just out on the water yesterday. It was a descent day. There have been reports of crappie being caught in 10-15' of water. We caught several bass at same depth. If you've never been on the lake be sure to stay in river channel when on plane. Otherwise big timber in other areas just under surface. My buddies boat shop has several lower unit repairs because of Lake levels, even locals can be fooled.
By spring break time the crappie may be spawning. Good luck.

That sounds lots of spots to watch out against large timbers.

I haven't been out there this year yet. We went around this time for the last 2 years. All we did was throw super flukes and catch a bunch of spots up the creeks. I did try dropshot on some main lake points and caught some solid largemouth.

Bass are on points and gravel flats in backs of creeks on Spro MD's and wacky rig senko and jerkbaits.

Gary beat me to it. Went this time last year and I mapped out min flat ledges in the fingers (that would be four or five ft deep for a ways out from bank) on Navionics before I went and we had great days back to back when we had two overcast drizzly days. Split shot senko was the ticket on those days. If it was sunny, might have taken something else to get bit after the first couple of hours each morn
