Hey guys, I'm looking for an individual or possibly a guide to take me out and fish for crappie, sandies, whites, hybrids and/or cats for friday fish frys during Lent (lewisville area). The fish will be given to our church or for fellowship fish frys. Looking for at least once a week for the next 3-4 weeks. My schedule is flexible during the week. Please PM me if anyone can help out. Thanks.

Right now you don't need a guide. Most creeks and the river are teeming with sandies. But until you get out there and do a little searching, your freezer is gonna stay empty.Pecan creek might be your easiest bet to fill a freezer in a very few days. Sandies are in and cooperative.

Totally agree.

Call Kevin McCullough at Downwind Guide Service.

He can put you on crappie, sandies, and hybrids on Lake Lewisville.

If you can go north on Wednesday's could work something out at least one of the weeks if it's for the church! I'm not Catholic but I have no problem with faith. Really been wacking them since December oddly this year. I love to catch them but don't eat them anyway would be almost all sandbass. Pm if interested normally have a close net group could write travel pass for our limits.
