I fished in it all day...What's the big deal?

Caught fish all day till my finger bleed. Never needed to move from this one spot all day. Fish kept on coming and I kept on catching.










Friend came late and boated 150 fish. Look carefully and you can see his stringer. Cooler full so he started stringing them.




I think I've done enough soaking of the Sabine River already today and am totally satisfied so I am going home and maybe visit LL below the dam if rain is not too bad Sunday. I strongly believed I have an idea on their,habits, movement,and patterns and know exactly where to toss or drop them lures should I return next year. Water in the river has receded 5'. River is getting low. We need that rain.

Btw game warden check every one on the river today so every thing we kept is legal. You couldn't find a small white bass if you wanted to on the Sabine. Boat traffic was super light today. Where's the hoard of peoples I was warned that's gonna be on the river today ?

Next year Mr. Troy. My last trip today. Water got very low. Fish are all in the deeper channels. Go get them while they are still thick. It was cold this morning but fish were very hungry all day.
