maybe next year I will try the Harris Chain, instead of Conroe, if the tournament goes south, I can always go to Disney

I didn't fish. I thought about just fishing Saturday but never got excited about it. Just was up at the Marina. Pretty much into fair weather fishing these days plus haven't been hooking any thing over 5# lately. Never been a fan of big bass tournaments. I would rather fish stringer tournaments. Looks like they bit pretty good. Two over 10# plus 5 out of the 7 hours it took a 5+ to get a check. Still they were bringing in 2 and 3's. In the 2015 spring tournament on the first day 4+ pounders got a check in 6 out of the 7 hours on Saturday.

I caught 24 fish today. They bit better for me early this morning. My biggest was 3.5 lbs. out for revenge tomorrow.

The BMC from Lake Conroe weigh in is being held at Minute Maid Park? That's just so outrageous, I am beside myself. Helicopter rides for all sacked bass? Seriously? Someone is getting some money for this.

First hour this morning. 10.53 beats out yesterday's leader which was 10.52. That has to hurt. Boat for first. Nothing for second beyond the $1,000 hour winnings.
