I don't watch a lot of these videos especially if it starts out at a store buying tackle or breakfast or getting gas, etc. Not a fan of music in the videos either. I do like to see big fish being caught though. I will admit I run a gopro most of the time when I'm fishing. Mainly just to go back and see exactly where I caught a big fish or where I went wrong if I lose a big one. You would be surprised how many times I "misremembered" the spot where I caught one or how it went down. I will send a video clip of a big one being caught to my family or buddies and they always think it's neat to watch and always ask me to send them the video if I catch a big one. I guess I do it for fun. Definitely not a look at me type thing.
Not a fan of a big fish boat flip but congrats on the catch!

In case anyone missed this! It's a good video of bed fishing after a cold past and what technique to use to catch em! Typically a cold front like East Texas just had will push em off beds, but the big females aren't going far. They will still be hanging around bear by! I hope this video helps someone this weekend enjoy guys! Be safe out there! I don't think anyone missed it. I just think everyone on here is just tired of "look at me" videos. Why is it necessary to run people down like that? If you don't like his videos then don't open the link. I don't know why people cant just support another man in what he wants to do he's not hurting anyone and obviously people do like his videos. It reminds me of lunkers TV everyone ran that dude in the ground on here and now he is making a living traveling the world fishing and making youtube videos. You guys are just jealous of what they are doing so I guess it makes you feel better to run them down. Keep doing what you are doing Chris and don't let these know it alls get you down.

And yes, he may be making a few $ on Youtube, but I promise you he's not traveling the world on it. But while you mention him and the others trying to get everyone to subscribe to their videos on here. I have a word of advice that may help them. Get some CREDIBLILTY before you start coaching the world on fishing. Half of these guys don't even know what its like to cash a check or even compete in this industry. If they want to make their "look at me" videos, they belong in another section. Not here. That's all Im saying.

I enjoy looking at other people's pictures and their videos.
I actually find it refreshing to see pictures/videos from non-Pros.
If I can't get out on the lake, I might as well watch others that are.
Its just like the television channel on TV, if you don't like a show change the channel.
If you don't want to look at a video, don't watch it.
At least they are taking the time to show people what they were using and how they caught the fish. I think the ultimate "Look at Me Posts" are the ones that have a picture of a big fish and then no info at all.
I personally wouldn't post a picture or video of me targeting a spawning fish, jerking her in my boat on the carpet, and then running around the lake looking for a scale.
I say keep the videos coming. Those that don't want to watch don't have to watch.

Just out of curiosity, how much does you tube pay these guys? It can't be much. I don't believe anybody is traveling the world and making a living with it. If that's the case the pros with some credibility could make a killing. There are only a handful of really good fishermen left on the TFF and they don't brag or post videos. They just deposit your entree fee in the bank on Monday morning.

you might surprised about how much you can make through ad rev on youtube... 60k clicks/day. If people enjoy what they are doing, more power to them, their videos in no way negatively effect my life. If i dont want to see it, i dont click on it. Not that hard.

I believe that a good photo or video is a great way to help tell a fishing story. But too many posters (in my opinion) don't bother trying to tell the fishing story and instead just post videos and exhort everyone to subscribe to their channel. Honestly, if I want to be inundated in self-promoting videos, I would just go to Youtube.
