That's what I thought too, Brian. Maybe he has an outboard on his bassbuster. Or run up and float back down. Good luck Mickey!

I didn't make it out today but I have many times. Don't have an outboard but I do have a 54 lb thrust TM and 2 batteries. Now I won't get to go until Thursday

Do any of you guys hike in to fish this creek? Just curious how easy it is to access the creek on foot

The banks are very steep and there are not many places to get down to the water. Not to mention tons of briars everywhere. If it has rained even a small amount all you will do is slide off into the creek. As for the fish, there are crappie and sandies up there but a lot of smaller crappie and the sandies are very scattered and all males from what I have caught.

I've been up there in a boat and yeah it looks hard to access on the bank. I plan to take my kayak out there when my kayaking buddy is able to go. I'm a little nervous to take my boat out there because of all the shallow spots. If anybody ever needs somebody to go with let me know. I'm pretty close but I don't like heading out there by myself

Kayaking is probably the easiest way to fish this creek. I saw several bass boats have problems.

I walk down all the time. It's not the easiest walk though. The banks are steep and hard to fish from. I was down there on Wednesday and the cliff across from me collapsed and went crashing into the water....had a "oh s%#*!" Moment lol. You can walk from 114 where it crosses the creek. Just be prepared to walk through the woods with little or no path.

Went this morning, caught 3 sandies and 4 black bass. Lots of bass boats and about 50% blast up there full throttle and screw anyone on the bank or in their way. Talked with a group of guys who lost two rigs because of this and several kayaks almost ran over. may have to start carrying a pocket full of rocks.....
