 Minn Kota Transducer mount on ulterra?

Since the built in transducer on the Ulterra & Ultrex is only for 2d anyone got any ideas on how to mount a DI/SI transducer on the motor?
Dont understand why they built it this way?

Please share....I'd really to mount my 2d Lowrance transducer to my Ulterra but am hesitant. I have seen some good ideas out there, and I have a few of my own, but I've only seen one so far that didn't look sketchy.

The Issue isn't mounting the transducer, it's routing the cable etc. in a way that it doesn't interfere/working in conjunction with the auto-deplo/stow function.

You are correct Sir. My use of mounting included total installation. Gots some info on a fix ill let you know when i get all the info!

Unless your dead set on mounting to TM you just run your wire to transom or use a y cable at your console.or don't know what brand electronics you have but if compatible you can ethernet to console

Mine isn't a auto deploy But This has worked for me for a year now...1/4 inch air line split down side with trans wire inserted inside and wrapped over with electrical tape, this cheap Air line had a natural twist to it out of package,I intended to come up with something else but I just kept fishing . I have a unit on my console but also have a unit on bow that I want on the Trolling Motor for brush pile fishing. BRAIDDED LINE turned me on to PRECISION SONAR'S Cable Guard. www.precisionsonar.com Thanks for the hook up. I oredered one and will up date after I install it.
