I have a Lowrance Elite Ti 7 with Navionics+ chip. Since I only have one MicroSD card is there a problem putting updates, waypoints, log files, and sonar logs on the Navionics map card? It would save me a ton of trouble and I'm not sure how many sonar logs I can create yet on the device memory before I run out.

Unless you want to be buying another Navionics card, get yourself an sd card for storage.

The Navionics card is a read only card unless using it in the Navionics Software Chart installer on the website. If you only have the Navionics card in your unit it will prompt you that you cannot save to the card. You must use a blank SD card to save to.

It looks like my fish finder saved the .sl2 log to the navionics card when I first started messing around with the logging. I believe the .sl2 is the lowrance log file. It's also interesting that the navionics chart updater app is allowing me to upload the .sl2 log file.
