I just installed a new a new fortrex 112 us2 and a helix12 gen 2 with it hard wired to the cranking battery. i am having all kinds of interference and unit is locking up. showing 225 ft when i am sitting in 7 ft of water. Can anyone on here help me

What is the sonar source you are using. US2 or DI transducer and which DI transducer?
Does the depth issue happen all the time or just when the motor is running?

Use Switchfire CLEAR and reduce the Sensitivity setting some.
