Lots of spanish mackeral on the surf side of the jetties. Sheepshead are also on the jetties and plentiful.
The smacks can be caught on anything shiny and the bait they are feeding on is very small. Match the hatch for best results but the bigger fish will come on larger baits.

Thanks Pie I am going to take my nephew thats back from Bagdad to the jetty's on Thursday. I hope to get him some smacks and a shark we will try to get a stingray for bait. Have you seen any reds or drum caught on cracked crab or shrimp?

jetties get real rough when the weather gets bad bring warm dry clothes and shoes that won't slip easy. if you can get your bait our far enough on the surf side about 1/2-3/4 down the jetty you could probly hook into a cobia.

At port A right know, my boss and a few of his buddies cleaned up on the sheapshead this morning off the jetties. Hope I can get out there tonight with them.
