Well I catch my fish on Stubbys also but I wish the gentleman the best of luck. I have tested just about every bait sold and none work as well as Stubbys. Now if someone makes something better it might quickly become illegal. Now I have in the past tried to make my own bait using cheese trimmings and hog brains. My bait did in fact catch fish. I will tell you the truth Stubbys is just simply the best bait you can fish with at Lake Fork. I went to Lake Lavon recently with an expert fisherman there. We did not catch a bunch of fish. I insisted on using my Stubbys and I was the only person to catch a fish the day we went. Now I know Lavon has plenty catfish in it but that day Stubbys beat the locals bait badly with the other two guys blanking for the day. Now I admit that I am outfitted well to catch my fish with Stubbys bait. It is very simple. A number 4 treble hook tied on some power pro braid. That is it simple and good. In my case simple is best.
