Anybody know anything about Kurth Lake? I know that it is small but has had quite a few stockings of FL bass. Is there a lot of pressure?

I think they renamed it Lufkin Residents Lake.

It's a shell of what it once was. Once lufkin bought it, they have pumped dirty river water in on occasion to test pumps etc. Water typically is clear and plenty of hydrilla but the pressure has changed it. I fished it as much as anyone from early 2000's to 2014. Rip..

Fished it once, 4 or 5 years back and haven't had time to go back.
I thought it was closed, but I am not in the know.

Kurth lake is owned by Lufkin fishing allowed by permit only. Yearly permit purchased at city hall either a 3 day pass for 15.00 yearly for 50.00 for veterans 100 for civilian, Kurth as with all lakes is location location.
