Glass is the worse line I have ever used! what is "Glass"? I'm assuming it is a type line line. "GLISS"(brand)

The clear florecesent CX premium is almost the only line I have used for a long time. Same for me - really like this line. Have used it at least 6-7 years straight. The blue florescent line is easier to see above water.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Agreed with above. The CX seems a little weaker than CXX but with exponentially less memory. I prefer the CX. If you are wanting to try some copolymer lines try McCoys Mean Green Copoly. Can't find it many places local but you can buy some 800yd to 3000yd spools through Tackle Wearhouse pretty fairly priced. +1

Don't waste your time or money with McCoy's Mean Green, the 12 lb. is terribly weak and 15 not much better. I have a spool of 17 lb. you can have. JMHO

I like it. I swear that KVD line treatment stuff works great with it. helps with memory noticeably although it is not a fix all.
I would not have believed it but my buddy had some in his boat and I tried it.

JMHO Either they changed the make up of the line or you got some bad spools. I have used McCoys Mean Green for over 25 years now and have not had a problem with it, although I will say that I did not like it in the clear. It seemed to be different from the green line for some reason.

For the Tx. rig spool her up some CXX 12# test and on the C-rig, CXX 15# for the main line and 12# for the leader. With CXX I use 6#-15# test, above that curls badly and this line is low stretch and very strong. When it starts to develop memory either use line conditioner and or stretch a section of it before going fishing.
If you want to get her on Fluorocarbon line with a baitcaster, spool the reel up with less than you do with other lines. That will help with line over runs.

Called McCoys and they said "send it too us and we'll look at it"....... less than stellar customer service. I'm not paying to send your crappy line back to you.

I have never had a problem with the green but did not like it in the clear.

Used 15# McCoys Green for three years and really liked it. Almost as strong as CXX, but with less memory and more buoyancy.
Then I got a brittle 300yd spool--would break easily. I don't think I was the only one with this experience, so I switched to CXX leaders to braid mainline for anything over 10lb test.
Use CX (more neutrally buoyant than CXX) for 6-10lb finesse applications)
CXX has a very large diameter (their 17lb feels as thick as some brand's 22lb test)
Example: 17lb CXX has a 0.41mm diameter 20lb Seaguar Red Label has a 0.405mm diameter 25lb Seaguar Invisx has a 0.43mm diameter

I use CXX mainly for moving baits.
