i havent fished rowlett creek in a while, what are the best spots and how far have the sandies moved up? Just find where 40+ cars are parked, lol. Yes, so go fish at Walmart. Lol jk

I went out this morning and threw curly tail grubs, flukes and a super duper. Didn't manage to catch any. Saw a couple of people with a few. Wind was up and it was chilly. fishing was in creek ,they were waiting for you bring them home buddy!!!  Ha! Yeah, I was fishing between 66 and the pipe. Hopefully they are waiting next time I get back out there.

No luck this morning. Went to the same location near Miller bridge where I caught two last week, and just no bite at all.

My kid and I were goofing around down there yesterday, it looks fishy.

My kid and I were goofing around down there yesterday, it looks fishy. I've fished there a few times. There are plenty of perch and small catfish. Not sure about anything else.

 this morning fishing at creek,got there late about 8am , a lot car parking both side,every sports was full,but i didn't see people caught over 3 fish keeper,luck for try the place no body fishing ,caught about 8 small crappie ,bite slow until 11:30 am and leave.

We were out early Saturday morning. 15 cars parked at 66 by 6:30am!!!
Tried a new spot with little success. We caught 1 perch, 1 turtle, 1 drum, 1 under crappie, 1 channel cat and 1 blue cat. At least we were able to take home 2 catfish.

Went to Rowlett Creek Preserve Saturday evening. After dark I met a fellow named Johnny who had a small cooler of sandies and was slayin em, one right after another. I was using the same bait but got skunked.(???) Johnny gave me a few fish to take home and when I told my wife about it she laughed her [censored] off for about five minutes. Not sure where she found the comedy in that but I gotta say if you are reading this Johnny many thanks for the fish and smokes I have a flashlight for you next time I see you. I have met some of the best people while fishing.
Went back out Sunday to the same place about noon, skunked again!

Went to Miller bridge Sunday morning and got nothing. Decided to move south, and immediately caught/released a 10 +0.1 inch crappie.
