Went from 1:40 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. and caught 4 on panfish assassin 2" curly tail shad on a 1/32 oz shad jig head. Not terrible, but not fantastic like everyone is saying. Lots of trash down there (nature of the beast), but was able to donate 2 of the larger fish to a guy who wasn't catching, for supper. Back at work now... violin

What general area of the creek did you catch them? Wondering how far up the creek they are now?

Where i was, is no secret spot. I was just fishing at the 66 bridge since I only had about 45 minutes to fish.

Are you still able to park on the side or is that dirt lot still there?

65 and I fished N of Miller and south of Firewheel for 3 hrs this a.m. Caught 1 keeper that we released, so someone else could have fun catching it.

It's as crowded as I've ever seen it, and it's not even March. Weekdays look like weekends. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when the catching really starts.

Went out yesterday and stayed for about two hours, with no luck.
Saw a few jumping but no bites.
South of Miller bridge, still looking.
Guess it'll get better once they start running.
