just acquired my first foot steered (cable) trolling motor. is not new, i have no operators manual.
it steers hard to the right immediately when i step on the "on" switch......
effort to counter this is reduced but not eliminated after the initial surge.
46# motorguide pro series 24v.
Is there a friction adjustment on these things ?
