Ok guys I have permission to fish Lake Fork for 3 days in April..guess it's more like 2 but 3 sounds better. I've only fished it one time before about 3 years ago and did horrible. I caught one fish and had one other bite. Any advice on what I should bring or a good starting point that would increase my odds and fish count. I'm fishing from my tracker so main lake baits are out unless I get so lucky the wind don't blow. I thank you in advance.

White fluke for sure in April, if the weather stays like this the top water might be going to, Pop-R and zara spook.

Good luck on your trip. The way my fishing has gone lately, I wouldn't even be able to catch em using dynamite....

You got it Roper! I hope your brother gets a big one for his B-day, and yours is just a little smaller.
Fishhard and good luck!

In general the fishing is much better than 3 yrs ago, you may want to look at launching at hide away harbor marina in little Caney. You can work the cuts and coves to the south one day, then fish north the next day.. Chatter baits will catch a good'un, so will little top water baits, poppers or prop baits... I would have a weightless fluke, wacky rig, footloose bandit C/B, and a split shot rig on my deck to start with... There are two colors on Fork, Black, and whatever you pick otherwise..
Good luck, pray for good weather grin
