For you guys that only have one anchor is it enough or do you find yourself wishing you had another?

I'm looking to get a new boat and have never owned power poles. Used my buddies boat that has them and wow! They really made the style of fishing for the day a lot easier.

Also think I would rather have talon but don't know a lot about either.

One is better than none. However, If you are financing and can, get twins.

Talon is not likes by many. I will only run Powerpoles. JMHO

I agree with Andrew. I mean a 90 hp motor would be enuff for most, but you would rather have a 250.

I had one Talon for a few months and quickly came up with the money to get a second one. I use mine a lot and much prefer the Talons over the pp myself.

You will be fine with one but like Chris said you will most likely find a way to get two. We ran with one for about a year and then added the second. One is better then none because you learn boat positioning and know when to deploy it for your boat to swing around.

I would be more prone to get an ultrex than only have one anchor.

I'm fixing to have two, year old, black 8ft blades with brand new pumps for sale next week, brackets included.

I have only one a 10 ft blade. Its actually works well and has its advantages such as pivoting as needed at times. The Plan was to get another, but really haven't found the need at this point.

Just put 12' talons on my boat a few weeks ago. I asked around and everyone said get two if possible.
I would not want to fish without them now. I don't think one is much better than the other. I went with Talons so I could mount them myself and they fit in my garage. 12 feet is kinda nice as well.

Ok, correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't you use a Talon/PP in a completely different way? Ie shallow vs out deep. Plus if you lock in GPS point it will only keep you close to the same spot, whereas the anchor is exact.
