I've posted some of our pics from Thailand in a couple places but none just of my wife. The kids are finally in college and for the last year we've been fishing everywhere. Last couple weeks we went to Thailand and she killed it there. Her biggest Mekong. Some of the ones in this lake weighed more than her and I'm glad she didn't hook one because this 70 pounder just about give her all she wanted. Striped catfish is very similar to Mekong but doesn't get as big. It's hard to see in this pic but there's a faint stripe along the lateral line. She liked these more than the Mekongs. Archer fish she caught while we were eating lunch. They were swimming around the dock so she got a little crank bait and caught some. A really big red finned tinfoil barb caught from the Chao Phraya river. Silver barb caught while carp fishing. Her amazon redtail caught on a talapia. This is the only fish she said she wanted before we left and she got three. Common carp. She caught several of these and I kept telling her we didn't fly around the planet to catch common carp. She don't find me funny.

Thank you for sharing such unique photos. I remember the Archer Fish from Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom many, many years ago. Those little suckers can spit with amazing accuracy. Did you ever see them knock any prey into the water?

Did you ever see them knock any prey into the water? I did not but they were usually under a tree with low hanging branches. I did look closely at their mouth to see how they did it and they have big tounge that I assume they just push to the roof of their mouth to spit the water. It was pretty cool.
