The bow hunters are out in the shallows. Shooting carp.
Shoot them all. Every one of them.
Those things are dangerous.

I looked outside the other day and my yard was full of Robins stealing my worms.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Early spring looks like.
The dog woods are blooming already.
That ground hog was wrong.

Jumping carp? The state should allow any means of elimination, make a redneck sport out of it.

Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.
No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

Signs of spring?
Saw a man cutting grass yesterday.
Gasses up my mower and charged the battery.
Lots of the roadside fishermen gathered by the bridges over the creek's feeding Towakoni. I don't know if the fish are biting or it's cabin fever.

I've been seeing pictures from all over. Redbuds are in bloom up here, somebody found some trout lilies in Fort Worth, I just saw the first blackberry bloom of the year posted in Kingwood (Houston).

Mountain Laurels and Redbuds are almost done blooming here, some of them are starting to drop blooms already. Mexican Buckeye are putting out leaf growth, my Cypress trees are budding out as well. Spring done sprung.

Just noticed the redbuds Sunday. That's always when it begins in my head.

Completely unrelated to anything but redbud flowers are edible raw and really good.
