For those of you who are familiar with Benbrook Lake when the crappie spawn start whats the depth ya'll focus on mainly. I have never fished the lake during the spawn and since the lake is primarily hard bottom its kind of hard for me to come up with a concise plan to proceed with.

I do better in the creeks 4 to 7 feet around cover. Never had much luck shallow. Also , I only fish with jigs.

I was out this morning, caught 1 11" keeper in about 4ft of water. I saw a few trees and brush loaded with them in about 20 fow but could not get them to bite.

Stump field at Rocky Creek is good when the water is clean. 5 to 7 foot. Close to the bank is about a 3 foot drop off they will stack up against also.
