looking for a good mechanic to repair a 60 hp merc. Anyone close to boyd/ bridgeport area?

99 0T096520. Motor was idling and accelerating good until you put it in gear. Then during acceleration it would just die.i replaced both fuel filters and rebuilt the fuel pump. It's now idling rough and smoking a bit. Ok a little more than a bit. Well I don't have any mosquitos around anymore. It's a 60hp two stroke oil injected.

Sounds like the fuel pumps not together right. Fuel lines. Found a fuel line closed almost completely off where it connects to the motor from the bulb.

I've replaced most of the fuel lines
But I will take the pump back off and check it
