I know there is only so much I can do in the driveway with the muffs on but I need to know If I am doing the carb tuning correctly.

I have set the idle circuit adjustment screws at 9 turns out from seat.

I get good throttle response but once again I'll know more when I get in the water.

I would like to know if there is an easier approach?

I guess that would be good info to share, lol!

It's 1996 johnson fast strike 150.

I just got back from the lake, there is a short bog when I accelerate but other than that she runs great. Idle seems a little low but it is smooth. There may be one slight cough during idle but other than that everything starts great hits tip end great, just the hole shot boggs...

Turn the idle air screws back in 2 rounds to 7 out.
