Taking my high school team for a tourney tomorrow. Gonna have over 100 boats out there so it will be tight. Only been there once. Any general advice? I haven't fished myself in forever so haven't been keeping up with anything.

Wow-if there are really 100 boats, it will be crowded. Lakes only 2500-3000 acres, if memory serves.

That lake will eat some lower units. Hope no one gets to throttle happy if not familiar with the lake.

If you get out of the boat lanes be sure you're at idle speed only. Murvaul is very dingy and you can't see stumps. The marina is still closed down so bring your snacks and ice with you. Good boat ramps and if they are too crowded there is another ramp by the bridge (limited parking) and another on the south shore of the lake (Tinkle Park). It will be very congested around the bridge tomorrow with crappie fishermen. Water temp was 60 degrees day before yesterday. Lots of boat houses to target. It's a cool little lake and an outstanding fishery. It's a regular stop for game wardens so make sure you have everything in order. There's a caf (Fuglers) about 1/4 mile from where you turn on hwy 1234 going to the marina. They have really good food. Good Luck! fish
