I need your help. A while back I came across a link or a site to where a guy was making mounts that work in the versatrack systems they are putting in boats. He sold just the mount without the rod holder. His were dramatically cheaper than what the big stores are selling them for ($80+). Do any of you have info on this? I have search high and low and can't find his site again. Thanks!

The Monser Rod Holder slide track 45 bases work great on my Xpress. I have 7 down each side and they never move and hold great. Best part is no holes had to be drilled in the boat to mount rod holders and they can be easily moved or removed if needed. http://monsterrodholders.com/shop/slidetrack-45/

I have the 90 degree holders for my versatrack. They work great.

How does that work? (the part about no drilling of holes) I went to the website and didn't see any decent pictures. Could you guys post (or send) a picture for me.
I have a 96 Wellcraft CC with 90 degree sides.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HdsUybilwOoI drilled one access point in each side of the boat to get the carriage bolts into the track and then slid themforward or back the get them to the location I wanted the rod holders mounted.

Thank you 44 Diesel. So you have to screw the track onto the inside railing (which wouldn't bother me). I may need to get me some of that!

Angle iron, carriage bolts ground down to a T shaped head and a couple wing nuts are all you need. I bent steel rods in a loop and welded them onto the angle iron on my last boat that had a track on it. Poor man's Bee Ready's!
