Had a great day fishing with Charlie on a beautiful day at Lake Somerville.
Fished from 8:30 until 1p.m. and managed a 25 fish limit, plus a few more that we threw back since we already hit our limit.
My client said he did not care to fish any live bait, so we relied on the old faithful 1/32 oz. gold digger jig from Dans Jigs!

We caught fish from 10-19 ft. on brush piles. The fish were really tight to the cover, almost had to bump brush to get bit.

Probably 22 of the 25 fish were females and were as fat as could be. I don't see how some of them would be able to hold much longer. I assume some of the males are already headed to nesting grounds.

Water temp was already 60 on main lake.

Great times! Thanks Charlie for letting me be your guide!

I'm always in a good mood when I'm fishing.

Had a good time. Kevin can find them fish. Took me a few missed bites before I remembered the feel of the " thump ", but after that, it was either a fish or a hang up, and not many hang ups. I'd highly recommend his service, that's why this was my 3rd time with him.
