That bass is 11 months and 29 days pregnant. Get her back quick. Nice fish and congrats.

Wow nice fish...one ounce away from the magic DD ten pounder..I say we round it up to 10...you know if it had gotten off at the boat it would have been a ten for sure.....HAHA...thanks for sharing..

My largest Houston County bass was also 9lb-15oz! One ounce below DD! Ironic! Over 30 years later I can remember the weight exactly because of being 1oz shy. If it had been say 10lb 4oz I would be saying "10 something" now! :-) The difference was I caught mine sight fishing in the mid/late 80's when the lake was crystal clear and full of hydrilla. A ten pound bass then was much more common place than now as it was trulely considered a trophy fishery then. John Hope was full time guide out of Crockett Family Resort and was doing all the trophy bass radio telemetry tracking then. Still a great fishery(obviously!) and one of my all time favorites. Congratulations!
