Just curious if anyone has done any good here yet?

well with any luck- I will be on Benbrook this saturday for some crappie fishing.. havent heard any reports.

The day after you and I went I ran into a guy at Longhorn that had 17 nice keepers he said he caught them in the cove above Richardson's Slough

If you see me out there Sat morning say hey--Ill be out there in the Flounder(16ft alumacraft)

Jim and I went last Sat. The wind was blowing fairly stong, fished the east side and the south side including bear creek with no luck.

I will also be out on Saturday...you guys say "hi" to me too. I'll be in the green SOT kayak. I have the benefit/extreme displeasure of watching people fish all day long from my office window at Southwest Christian School. Hey XYZ, when you say cove above the slough, was he way back up in the cove in the shallows or just back in the stumps? I threw about 150 pitches to the baseball team yesterday and don't think I will be able to paddle my happy butt all over the lake...thanks for any clues in advance.

Bonehead- Pope, his son, and I will be out there in my Red/black skeeter 20' bass boat. I think we will be on the water around 8am. headind to the east side first, by the dam- then working south until we find the papermouths.

Now that they should be up in the shallows for the spawn next several weeks, anyone been out to Rocky Creek Barge lately and seen if they're doing any good? Was thinking of going there and trying some jigs.

If not, may just try Twin Coves on the 'Vine or go up on the upper-end of RayBob. Caught a few in a few hours on jigs @ the crappiehouse on Weatherford yesterday.

That's what the guy running the barge said. I'll be out there in the afternoon with the kids and folks. Probably be mostly in Rocky and Mustang. If you see an old brown bass boat stop and say hi.

Let me know how you and the kiddos do at Rocky Creek. May go out there Sunday morning with a buddy of mine. Did well this time last year on the walkway leading up to the crappie house. Thanks!
