Trilene sensation is quite amazing acts like braid. Big game is typical go to. What mono do you recommend?! Been using braid for awhile and switching back. Braid quality seems down.

The new seagar mono is awesome. Other than that standard slinky big game. But this seagar mono (just released) is awesome. You can really lay the wood em

Been using cajun line almost exclusively for about 10+ years. Pretty average as far as quality I imagine but it's cheap and looks cool. My mid-heavy saltwater setup is Penn Spinfisher LLV 4500 with 17lb cajun line. We've reeled in multiple bull reds in the mid-40" range, a 48" black tip, trout of all sizes, jacks, and even a 48" ling on this setup.

Big Game for me too. When it starts getting memory coils I replace it. Not too expensive for that.

When ya get a spool of mono that's been sitting around for a while and now it's holding memory...........Fill bathroom sink with darn near hot water and add some shampoo. Let it soak for a few hours keeping water real warm and rinse.

Ande back country for us. Very slick and very resistant to shell cutting it.

As for mono I have been using the Omniflex mono that Wal-Mart has had on sale forever. You can buy 150 yard spools for $2 each! I would use it to spool a rod if I wanted to use mono. It has proven to me it is very durable and strong. I have broken my braid on hang ups at times rather than break the mono as I use 30 lb mono for most of my leaders. I use KastKing braid on all my rods. Try it if you never have. You will be hooked. Cheaper than name brand and better! Ugly Stik 7' Inshore rod, KastKing Stealth bait caster spooled with KastKing 20 lb High Visibility Yellow, 2'-3' Omniflex mono leader, Rapala knot to top water or paddle tail lure. Cheapest setup I own and use it all the time without any issues! Buy all the expensive gear you can if you can afford it. For those that can't afford it this is my option and help to you learned over the years from my experience at fishing.
