Cant keep the Darn crappie out of the way.Tried to catch whites and all I kept getting was big crappie. Trolled for hybrids and caught crappie too. Dropped minnows for whites and you guessed it, Crappie. Threw the cast net for shad, crappie. What the heck!

The Crappie are biting on Belton too. Not quite the problem you have though.

Well I'm having the opposite problem. Trying to catch crappies but kept getting monster whites.

Guess you can say we tearing them up!! Only crappie I'm catching and releasing is from a cast net.

Timmy we bought 4 dozen minnows and release them all back into the lake lol!! Talk to one of the guys on the lake said he caught a cooler of crappies. We had so much fun with them whites we just never switch gear to go catch crappies. One thing for sure is with side scan while looking for fish we marked a lot of brush piles for next time quest for crappies. Many I haven't seen before in the normal spots I normally fished . Some one been sneaking out during the week submerging old christmas trees. Water was crazy warm this weekend. Top off at 70-71.5 degrees by 4 pm.
