 Best all around fishing line and pound test for whites stripers and hybrids?

I have 4 or 5 reels I want to spool up for whites hybrids and stripers. What is the best pound test and line to spool these up with?
Mono, Fluro, Braid, Berkley Trilene, Stren 10lb, 20lb?
What will get the job done best in your opinion?

I use 20 lb vanish gold and recently started using a clear blue flouro that I can't remember the name. Also depends on conditions I do use braid with a flouro leader. We caught 100 plus fish today on flouro at pk.

We caught 100 plus fish today on flouro at pk. PK was hot today we caught a wheelbarrow load too.  For the OP, I use 30 lb Power Pro Braid and either a 15 or 20 pound Trilene Big Game leader, usually 15 lb.

I quit using mono. Having to re-spool everything every 3 months to avoid memory coiling was a hassle. On spinning reels, I use 20# PowerPro. On baitcasters I use 30# Power Pro.
White, hybrids, stripers, or big cats, I cant handle them all and only switch the line every season.

You can use just about anything you want. I have used mono, braid, floro and they all work well. Just go with what you like. The biggest striper I ever caught, 50lb, came on 12 pound mono.

I use 30lb braid on all my reels. Dead sticking it is more sensitive and less stretch which equates to more fish. Using slabs, if I hang up I can usually straighten out the hook so I lose less lures. No line coil at all. Just my opinion.

I have gone back and forth from braid to mono several times in my life.
If any rod has mono it is 17 lb Stren Heavy Cover as I have a 3000 yard spool of it. All winter fishing is all braid now after trying it 40 lb Gliss in green which faded to silver gray with lots of use. Gliss will be the only line when I gave to change any.
I really prefer braid.

I use 14lb stren original mono.. Sometimes I'll use a 20lb leader for 1oz spoons... Mostly just 14lb mono though.. Whites in a river right now I'll use 8lb mono on light spinning tackle.

I use trylene big game 15 lb. I have green on 8 rods clear on 2 rods.
