Seems like this crazy weather we are having is throwing the bite off everywhere. One day anglers are on a bite, go back next day only to get skunked.

Watch the air pressure, it's been crazy in line for catching fish this year...

Whats your opinion on what pressure is best? Some say fish when the pressure is falling others say when it is rising and some say both are good.

There's an awesome post by txpacker in the crappie fishing section from maybe a week or more ago that covers everything in detail.

You can go down there and catch some. You might even grind out a decent stringer. For the most part, you can just enjoy the nice weather.

Ive seen plenty of people walking out with stringers and buckets full, but Im guessing they get there early! About every time Im getting there they're pulling their stringers out of the water and heading home. Ive seen banks with about 20 fishermen and about everyone getting skunked. 4 out of 20 actually pull a limit, because they probably hit the "deep holes". Pressure is kind of high but dropping, Saturdays pressure looks good until about 12pm Sunday. Just have to beat the crowd.

There are fish in the deeper pockets, here and there. If you have several hours to spare or if you find the right pocket, you can work on a decent stringer. Lake temp is 55.... perfect.
Soon guys. Be patient. Everyone cross their fingers and do their rain dance. It'll be easy pickin's before you know it.
