Leaving for Lake Falcon tomarrow for vacation.
Ive never been on the lake before so are there any boating hazards I need to know about or is it pretty wide open?
Also any suggestions on areas to fish.
Any and all info appreciated.

Don't fish the Mexican side with out boat registration or license. While over there if you find a gill net avoid it and don't mess with it. If you follow those simple thoughts you shouldn't have any problems.
When in doubt SET THE HOOK!

Use 65# test braided line when fishing in the trees and reel fast bringing them up! Creature baits, watermelon red, or similar. Cranks are good too. Fish near deep water, points, dropoffs. Give us a report and pics! Have fun!
