The best ever was the chicken fried ribeye served at Rex Cauble's restaurant on 380 in Denton. Can't recall the name of the place. It was just east of I-35, painted red and had wagon wheels in front. Darned good live bands on weekends, too. Long since gone.

That list is illegitimate, for 2 reasons:
1. Gristmill in Gruene is on there 2. The Oasis in Premont is not on the list (nor is their awesome yellow gravy)

That list is illegitimate, for 2 reasons:
1. Gristmill in Gruene is on there 2. The Oasis in Premont is not on the list (nor is their awesome yellow gravy) I love Grist Mill
