Planning a trip to Lake Fork for the nights of April 6-7. Arriving on the 6th and leaving on the 8th.
Any recommendations for places to stay? If anyone here has a small cabin, small house, or an RV/trailer on the lake they would like to rent, please send me a PM.
Proximity to boat launch or private launch ability is definitely a positive.

Its going to be myself, 1 buddy from out of state, one fullsize SUV and my 17' tracker. Would like to have electric to charge trolling motor batteries at night.

Plan on fishing the entire time so don't need too many luxuries but want to be able to grill some food and sleep somewhere at the end of the day.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I would consider either Lake Fork Marina or Burnin Stump.

If you're staying at a motel I'd suggest Oakridge. They have a ramp, restaurant and nice tackle shop. Barry and Tracy will take good care of you.

+1. Very safe and the best food on the lake.

I like covered boat parking, so I'll recommend Burnin Stump, or 515 Cabins. I've stayed at both in previous years.

Popes Landing, has a house, cabins, trailers, motel, two great ramps, Ron @ Reel time rods is located there if you need anything rod and reel related, and Popes is close to Mamma B's for breakfast, lunch, dinner and pie. Great food.

Also Ayers car wash is right at the turn off for Popes Landing so you can wash the boat if you choose to.

Thanks for all the great suggestions guys.
Right now we are leaning towards either 515 cabins or most likely Burnin Stump Lodge - the covered boat parking looks great and right outside each room.

Pope's Landing has some cabins that are ideal for what you want. They are 2 bedrooms with a living room and kitchen and they each have pull thru covered parking on the side of the cabins that have both lights and plug ins. Can't recall if they had a grill but almost positive they do.

All these places above are great. That is the busiest time of year on Fork. You might just have to see who has availability.

Make your decision soon...they will not be available for long
