I was setting there thinking back one night when my phone went off,it was a relative calling. Man! I need some purple and black streamer feathers and 3/32 heads with 3/0 hooks can you do that. I said no problem be next week, he said I'm on my way gotta get them tied tonight.His wife is a top Bass Women contender she did well that weekend in Louisiana. This past Saturday morning I had been out doing street ministry work when I got home the bitter cold kept sinking in.when I realized I was catching something I just didn't know how bad it was gonna be. The phone rang again this Saturday I was in a daze at this point when the wife handed me the phone. The lady on the other end was ecstatic, she had caught a new Lake O The Pines white crappie record certified at 3.8lbs by TPWD! Man that is crazy I told her. Little did i know as she got into the story,that it would tie back to a church youth camp our business had donated tackle to. A super GREAT! Christian lady at our church helped set the camps up little did I know at the time that she hung out with a group of women Slab Slayers Mrs Pat Steed the new record holder being one of them. Our lady that set up them camps picked up all the baits the kids had discarded,and the ones they didn't use and off they went. These ladies started fishing somewhere around the end of October i believe and as of the day she caught the record they had caught over 2000 crappie and she didn't even know them name of the bait. I told her don't worry about it,everytime you drop it in the water just think of a Lil Rascal!

Ken I'm not exactly sure we made 3 special colors in 2015 for teams that headed to the Crappie Masters chain of lakes in Florida it's one of those I'll have it in my hand Sunday.
