Was at the PlanoKeith spot Friday morning. Nobody home. So decided to go deeper south to hunt for hybrids aT many spots. Got skunked! Then wind picked up and went in. Went home and washed the smell off my clothes violin

Glad they showed up Saturday , Keith smile

We broke Keith's new thumper in good Sunday. Fished from 1.00 till almost dark and caught fish all day long. There was a lull about mid afternoon but we ended well and his thumper never missed a beat.
The only scary moment we had was a sail boat that almost run us over!!

I think it is open and you can launch there, but have not done so myself. I have seen a trailer backed in but no boat was there (that was odd). I would just go by there first and check it out, if you don't like what you see, go elsewhere.

I drive by there twice a day 5 days a week and have not seen a vehicle of any kind on the east side for months. This is very unusual even considering time of years and week days. With the west side open I just figured the developer was keeping his promise. Not a problem for the upcoming weekend with a south wind. I will just launch at Heath.

welcome TGoober! A few hubbard boats will be out today noon to 3 ish. CC boats in open waters. Use trolling motor ease over and introduce yourself. Many of us will be at the dallas boat show on 2/11 to look at "boats" lol.

If you want to shorten the learning curve on hubbard, guide RHSA twin brother John Varner can teach you seasonal patern, electronics, deadstick etc. That's a very worth whole investment as well smile
