Tough day for me on Fairfield yesterday. North wind made fishing like work. Wanted to go to Monti but didn't care for the extra long drive so stayed closer to home. Tried some new areas to me that were out of the wind and had what I thought was a good one break me off. While I was retying it jumped twice to add insult to injury. Ended the day with 4 fish on 7 bites, the biggest near the end of the day at 4.75

Got a face full of water on this release.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I was there yesterday myself and only caught 4. The wind was howling and we were in a bassboat.

Not a bad day especially from a yak. The lake is definitely not fishing like it was a month ago

Are the "tilapia" fishermen still out there with their nets?
