Just wondering what is a good recessed foot control tray. I'm getting a Minn Kota Fortrex and wanting to add a recessed tray while mounting trolling motor. Is plastic better or aluminum? also saw the fiberglass but They are kinda expensive.

I installed the metal Troll-N-Tray on my skeeter. I got it off Amazon and it was an easy installation. I really like it.

I don't know how many 10" bass I've had fall in mine. Can't get my hand in to get the little "floppers" out.

ComforTroll. The cutting of a perfectly good deck is the hardest part about installation...that first cut and there's no going back.

Many years later and still going strong.

Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.

I had to go back and look at my order history from Tackle Warehouse to see which one i installed. Mine is a Troll Eze and I got it based on suggestions from TFF'ers. Install took about 4 hours. Many suggested using a Jig Saw, but a Skill Saw worked best for me with some minor cuts with Jig Saw and Reciprocating saw. If you are a DIY'er, it's a snap to do.

I got the RR Design tray from hodges marine, that was the cheapest and it's super solid, made of metal. Very much worth it, fits my maxxum pedal perfect. Same pedal as fortrex. It was 60 bucks free shipping if I remember correctly. Can't go wrong.

Troll Eze easy to install. Take your time. There is no going back. Measure twice cut once.

Once I finally got the saw cutting my deck, install was less than an hour.
I looked at the saw, looked at the deck, looked at the saw, looked at the deck, for a couple of hours....

Haha yeah it's gonna be scary, ever think about if it weakens your front deck?
