Word is dunlap is drawn down for maintenance but no one in the world seems to know if the lake is accessible, if any of you cats got a clue I'd appreciate the scoop thanks!

I launched at Shumans Beach easily 2 weekends ago during drawdown. I worked my way up to the no wake zone in the channel with caution but had no issues what so ever.

The lake is only drawn down a few feet. When it's right around 2 feet low I can still launch my 21 footer at Schuman's, but BARELY. I haven't used the I35 ramp in quite a while. I would launch there if the lake is 1 1/2ft low or lower. At the end of that ramp it drops off into 8-9ft water. You don't wanna mess with that. I usually fish Dunlap twice a week but it's been sucking so bad lately that I've quit going. It needs a break and a little bit of restocking done to it.
Good luck
