I hunt real close to there and there has not been much activity on the lake at all. Its still pretty dang low but is light years ahead of where it was a year ago. Looked like they had worked to clear some of the brush that had grown up on the public ramp near Blackwell but I haven't been seeing any boats launching there so not sure if you can or not. I bet its still 8'-10' low.

You can launch at any ramp on the lake. It's a little less than 9 feet low. Went back in October. Fishing was so so no real good fish but there are still some good ones in there. Looking forward to the spring. Should be good.

Funny to see this. I was thinking about heading up there Saturday. One of my best days fishing ever was on that lake.

Go to E.V. Spence and put in off slab rocks at wildcat marina, might be shocked at what they are catching. I know it's low but it has some good fish.

There are some good fish being caught at Spence. It is like fishing a stock tank though. The lake will make you look like you know what you are doing, though. I'd rather go to Oak Creek or Ivie. There will be less pressure. Come spring time Spence will look like Fork during the McDonalds.

Fished a club tournament there recently. Seemed like everyone caught something and a couple of good bags weighed.

That's surprising. I went for a week in the spring last year and caught one bass in 4 days. I had about given up on that lake. This makes me very happy because my family has a lake house there.
