I recently haven't been able to get out on the lake much due to my health. Curious if the fish are biting as good as I have heard. I know the Kayak boys have been catching them all the way up in Kickapoo. Plan on going and will post a report. Has the south end as good as the north?

I said I would post an update when I had a chance but I've been busy catching fish. Past few days have been very good. Most of the fish where very shallow and came on the good ole Hank Parker special. With the water level it was not hard to get to the back of Kickapoo and there was a lot of water way back in the creek. Caught several fish over 5 pounds with one weighing 8.7. I did not fish the south end because I had engine problems and could only idle mostly. It is a great fishery. Best advice I can give is go to the key areas and fish. I did catch several on brush hogs but the spinnerbait bite was very good
