For all the years I was working, I would go to the store early Monday morning to get something or other before going to work. Most of the time that was just before daylight. Invariably there would be this asshat in there in his fishing shirt, buying ice and sodas for a day on the lake. As I was getting back in my truck to go to work, he would walk happily to his truck and drive away pulling his boat with rods sticking out of it and just being a pure horses [censored].
Today,
I was that guy. AND it was GREAT!

Man, for issues going on in Nocona my sr. year I didn't sign back up for football. Let me say, driving past the practice field, boat in tow, as they were warming up in the morning during two-a-days, and even on into the fall as soon as the bell rang after school, was one of the most satisfying feelings. Especially after they went 1-9 that year after being blaming me for losing games my jr year. Live it up

when you are retired,you can go fishing any day you want to.....and....you can not go fishing any day you don't want to.....
been retired 11 1/2 years....best years of my life...

It's so great to be able to pick your weather perfect days for hunting and fishing and and not have to go only on the weekends.
