I voted fake but it's kind of like betting against your favorite team or as my brother and I call it,"victory tax". I'm definitely hoping my vote loses!

I'm hoping the coin is real. It could have been washed onto the beach and covered up in sand 100s of years ago. It doesn't take a hurricane to move stuff around. When the conditions are all in alignment... wind direction, high tide, moon phase, wave action, I've seen some incredible damage done to the sea bottom on days that the wind wasn't anywhere near hurricane force. Remember getting up early one morning to fish the beach in Hollywood, Florida, near Miami. Nothing special about the day before with 30 mph winds that night as the tropical depression pushed through. All calm the next day when I saw where the coral reef had been ripped to shreds from ocean floor and deposited on the beach.     It was so fitting when I saw this one among all the others. #corallivesmatter
