It's punch bait, if there are feeding fish in the area, they will bite.

Go to the web page and order it. If your a guide, call Charles he might work a deal for ya on 5 gallons. I like the shad flavor myself. But a friend uses the crawdad flavor and odes real good also. My go to punch baits are CJ's shad, dough bait is Stubby's and my dip bait is Doc's blood bait. If one ain't working, go to the other until you find what they want for that day.

I have not had any luck with CJ's but I haven't tried it in years-- I mainly use Danny King's Blood/Garlic flavors

Weldon is the one who told me about it. Some great advice there. thumb He hammers them on Crawdad.

What lake are you fishing that the smallest fish you caught on punch bait was 16#?

I keep some on the boat just in case I run out of Shad or when I'm just fishing for eaters.

I've tried most all of them and these are the ones that work best for me.

CJ's Shad - the Monster is ok but I prefer the Shad.
Danny King - Blood

Still need to try Stubbys. Never had much luck with the grasshopper, Crawford or minnow flavor. I bet they would work in ponds better than lakes though just a guess.

I tried one can of CJ's Minnow flavor and never caught a Conroe cat on it. Chicken livers and live shad are my catching baits for channels, cut bream/carp for blues, and live bream for ole Big Lips.

Rod & Reel PB: Blue Cat 53 lbs/12 lb test, Flathead Cat 78 lbs/20 lb test, Channel Cat 17 lbs 12 lb test, Texas common carp 40 lbs/12 lb test, White crappie 2.8 lbs, Black crappie 2.3 lbs all Lake Conroe

I did an experiment with punch bait on Lake Somerville when I first tried it, a couple years ago. Anchored and cast out different rods with shrimp, fresh shad, worms, and punch bait. I couldn't set the punch bait rod down long enough to give the other baits much of a try, as it was always being hit by cats. If they are in the area, punch bait will let you know, as they will definitely hit it. And if they are in the area, you won't have time, or enough hands, to fish more than one rod! I don't catch big cats on it (cut shad is better) but I definitely fill the stringer with it. That's been my experience over the years.
