Working on finishing up restoration on 87 Champion 176 Super Champ. I've got the finish cleaned up as good as she's gonna get, new seats going in, and finishing up the carpet.
Need to decide on batteries and want to install a 3 bank charger.
Looking at the MK 315D from Minn Kota, found from online retailer for $136 shipped and Minn Kota has $25 rebate for this model. $111 delivered seems to be good bang for the buck and Minn Kota offers 3 year warranty.
This is my first boat after 51 years on the bank so figuring things out as I go.
Feedback welcome for opinion of this as a charger solution.

I have a 330D that has been used a lot for the last 3 years and it has given no problems. Take that for what it is worth to you. In the past I have had other MK chargers with similar results.

Good chargers, keep in mind the 315 is 5 per bank compared to 330 which is 10 per bank. Good price on the 315.

Thanks to all that responded on this including the pics of installation in a 184.
Recognizing that the 315 is 5 amps per bank and the 330 is 10, my understanding is that with an output of 5 amps will just take longer to complete a recharge.
I'm okay with that and can use the $ saved to help with the overall restoration budget.
I've enjoyed this project and looking forward to getting this boat wet.

What website did you find that deal on, if you don't mind me asking? The charger on my boat just lost a bank so I'm in the market for a new one as well.
